GRACE AN is an animation artist and filmmaker from Toronto/Tkaronto based in Montreal/Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang. She likes to make work alongside memory and folly. In a fragmentary and dialogic manner, her practice thinks about the relationship between film and objects. Her two latest films were produced by The National Film Board of Canada. Her shorts have been screened at the Ottawa International Animation Festival, Fantasia International Film Festival, Festival du nouveau cinéma, and the British Film Institute. Her clients include CBC, Indigo, McGill University, The Centre for Community Organizations, and the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21.
